Strathalbyn to Cape Jarvis
27th May 2022
Breakfast in Strathalbyn park next to river and a lovely church.
Passed through a small town called Meadow with beautiful tree-lined streets filled with red and yellow leafed trees. Just a shame it was pouring rain to appreciate their full beauty.
Stopped at Aldinga to refuel. 193.9 per litre.
On the coast again with long idyllic beach full of seaweed and perfect balanced surf. There were rolling hills next to it reminding us of Southerndown, in south Wales. The beach reminded us of Nice. lots of small pebbles.
Brian surprised Beverley and stopped at a Buddhist centre, Nan Hai Pu Tuo Temple of Australia, where they are erecting a beautiful Buddha statue and temple. Very peaceful and magical energy.
Driving towards Cape Jarvis, where we catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island tomorrow, we got an up close look at a live Kangaroo. We think he wanted to stow away to go to the island because he nearly ended up on the front of the van. Thank god our brakes work well.
