Tambo to Charleville

We left Tambo, after a quick breakfast next to the lake and a bit of exercise in the park.

An easy drive brought us to Augathella, made famous for the film “Smiley”. The town was a lovely surprise with its painted water tower, and “meat ant” sculptures. There is a good camp ground in town that we will probably stay in next time.

We continued on to Charleville, and had a walk around town before heading out to the CMCA campground outside town.
