Heading off to Melbourne again

Heading off to Melbourne again today.

Not a good start. Raining again.

Got down to the Van and discovered the right rear tyre was flat. Got out the jack kit, and discovered that the scissor jack winding arm is missing. So we manage to wind the jack up with a screwdriver. Not ideal. Took the tyre to get it fixed. They said that they could not find a puncture. We checked the tyre pressures yesterday, so maybe the valve did not seat properly. Got the valve replaced as a precaution.

We finished loading the van in the pouring rain.

Went to start the van to leave. Would not start. Flat battery? It started earlier without a problem, and had a long run the day before. Managed to jumpstart it from the House batteries.

Underway! Almost. Forgot the E-tag. Back to get it.
