Cloncurry

After spending the night on the side of the street, we visited the AUSTRALIAN FLYING DOCTORS MUSEUM.
Very interesting to learn about the history. The building was on four levels and freezing though..so make sure you bring an extra layer.

We had breakfast outside the local swimming 🏊‍♂️ pool which they are very proud off. We then headed towards Winton. first stop McKinlay. We topped up the fuel. Only $2.05pl. The cheapest since we left Adelaide. Then a quick bevy at the Crocodile Dundee’s Walkabout Creek Hotel…which is literally in the middle of nowhere.

We then went to a gravel pit campsite nearby. Brian got attacked by at least a hundred flies 😳 😬 A good excuse to put up our magnetic fly screens on the doors. It was stinking hot 🔥 and we welcomed the cooler temperature with the magnificent orange and flaming red sunset 🌇
